ETA for next build?

Since the unfortunately unability of 939 to load openapi.jar or idea.jar I am quite eager to get my hands on the next build.
Are you making any progress and will we soon see a build?

BTW there hasn't been a progress report news since early July. It would be good to know what is going on and keep in touch with the stabilization plan as it firms up.

Keep up the good work.

Jacques

Yes, please. Right now, I can't do any open-api development for Aurora.

Well, I hope so, but at the moment we have not yet resolved the idea.jar
problem...
Jacques, I think you should know better than pressing so hard on IDEA
developers :) Believe me, we are trying very hard to figure things out.

Why not give us all access to the IDEA cvs server and we can help with the
bugs ;) heh.

Free the source!!! :)

I was thinking in the same line since obviously it only occurs with obfuscated code. I was thinking that you should just not obfuscate your code ;) Sounds like a simple enough way to take care of that and some of the recent refactoring re-rants... ;)

But in the end Dmitry, I have such a beautiful toy I cannot help myself to be the regular Customer here: I want it last week w/o bugs w/ all my features (especially my refactorings ;) for a symbolic $1 and I won't let anybody else play with it!!!!!!!

Anyway I am not losing sleep over my post... I know that whatever we say it won't change the already very fast pace that you guys develop at. So I am not presuring you to deliver faster. I am pressuring you to give us more information ;)

Will you help with the fixes afterwards? :)

The idea.jar problem have been resolved, and we hope to release the next
build tomorrow morning.

If you are interested the problem was in the obfuscator we are using
corrupting class files with generics. Class file parsing have been made
more robust to handle this.

Was the obfuscator the problem (a bug in it), or the way you had
configured it?

I'm just curious (not blaming anybody).

BTW was it a KlassMaster bug then? Do they work with generics compiled code or do you have to post-process bycode yourself before KLM?

Just curious

We had to adapt out class parser. ZKM's bug only corrupts the additonal
information about generics, which is not used by JVM.

It was (or rather is) a bug in the obfuscator.
BTW it is not critical to program execution.

Dmitry,

could you please bundle with this release configuration checkbox to turn off
smooth scrolling.
Many of us are not used to use this and would like to see a way to turn it
off.

Apparently this is a thread-hijacking, which is a serious offence to
the netiquette ;)
