Support variables in pom.xml

Hi,

Just a small question: would it be possible to support user variables in pom.xml's? My current pom looks like this:

${internet.resources.parent.project.dir} ${commons.parent.project.dir} ]]>

However, I cannot open it, because IntelliJ cannot interpret the variables...
