In another post someone from the development team said that they release a build when it passes more than 50% of the tests. I surmise they had to change some good portion of the core for the macro recorder. So some time may pass until they get it straight again. Well, I had 40 votes on this feature. I cannot wait to see it in action, but as always: patience is the only way.

That was a joke! I guess even the EAP builds pass a lot more tests and the number of passed tests is only one factor in the decision to 'release' an EAP build.

Hm, I don't think so. Each action is pretty much encapsulated anyway (like e.g. the configurable keymap shows), so it shouldn't require too many changes. But I'll wait and see...
I'll take 872 with or without recorder...

Yep. Actually we are striving for the build to pass all tests before making it available to public.
