How do I get IDEA to use SceneBuilder

Well, I voted it up but I'm not sure that issue is the same. The issue seems to be a problem showing scenebuilder in an integrated
fashion.
My problem is that I can't even get Jet Brains to open scenebuilder separately because it won't let me specify the application file.

I installed the SceneBuilder that's specifically for the Mac and was able to get JetBrains to point to it.

However, I still can't open it from inside IDEA because it tries to find a file called launcher.sh inside the SceneBuilder app.

That file doesn't exist.

Any idea what should be in it and I'll create my own?

I'm having the same problem and the issue linked above is not relevant.

I'm finding the integrated Scenebuilder in IDEA is useless because the Scenebuilder menu bar is not displayed and some other parts of the UI are not visible or accessible.

So naturally I'd like to start Scenebuilder as an external application but I'm hitting the same bug that you have.

Netbeans works perfectly,  shame I'll have to use that instead of a tool I paid for.

I figured I'd try SceneBuilder again with IntelliJ 15 so I did the following:

1) Created brand new JavaFX project, selecting JDK 1.8
2) Double-clicked on the sample.fxml and noted all the lovely XML code
3) Clicked on the Scene Builder tab and saw the following stack trace:

(Obviously it can't find something but I don't know why not....SceneBuilder itself is installed in  /Applications/SceneBuilder.app on my OS/X machine and that path is defined in IDEA.

You can switch IDEA boot JDK to Oracle 1.8 to get it working in the current version: http://blog.jetbrains.com/idea/2015/05/intellij-idea-14-1-4-eap-141-1192-is-available/or copy the missing jars into bundled jre as suggested in one of the latest commennts, or wait until it's included with the bundled JDK.
