option key 5 times turns off mac keyboard
It might be worth adding to the help text for the multi cursor feature: I'm using a MacBook Pro running Yosemite. When I did option-click in several different places to enable multiple-cursor editing, I discovered that no keys on my keyboard worked!
I discovered that there is an Accessiblity setting which is triggered by pressing the Option key 5 times. I unchecked the checkbox for that item.
