cvs password no longer taking :-{

Never mind. I don't know what caused it, but a clean install did the
trick. (But it took deleting the old install directory and the
~/.IntelliJ directory.)

I'm facing the same problem I tried different solutions sujjested in this forum nothing works

Arif,

I have been having this problem for a long time. Finally I got cvs to
work with IntelliJ by using a version of CVS from
http://www.cvshome.org/ (cvs-1.11.5.zip for the Windows binaries),
while there was no way to login with the "regular CVS" provided with
cygwin.
