For no reason I can determine, every time I perform a CVS operation idea prompts me for my password, prompts again, promts again, ... What could have happened? One day it worked, the next it does not.
For no reason I can determine, every time I perform a CVS operation idea prompts me for my password, prompts again, promts again, ... What could have happened? One day it worked, the next it does not.
Never mind. I don't know what caused it, but a clean install did the trick. (But it took deleting the old install directory and the ~/.IntelliJ directory.)
I have been having this problem for a long time. Finally I got cvs to work with IntelliJ by using a version of CVS from http://www.cvshome.org/ (cvs-1.11.5.zip for the Windows binaries), while there was no way to login with the "regular CVS" provided with cygwin.
