Can't Install Build 690 on Mac OS X
The installer hangs at "Installing... Preferences" and never advances. Has anyone else encounter this? I perviously had build 689 installed ant ran the uninstaller before running the installer for 690.

What is your default jdk?
Do you have jdk1.4 installed? Which version?

No worries... ended up being something unrelated to the installer. I have just installed it successfully after running the "Repair Permissions" function of "Disk Utility" on my drive. It is the new catch all fix for strange happenings.
