Since it has become way more difficult to report bugs (and this is the main reason not to do so, because the time is valueable..), is it possible to
- create 1:1 jira accounts for existing EAP users?
- have single sign-on on this site?

Kind of newsgroups support available may be it will help. But I'm not sure it support features creation.
According to http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAEXT/JIRANNTPbridge
you need to subscribe to group news://news.jetbrains.com:119/jetbrains.intellij.jira.idea
and then "New issues becomes NNTP posts, and new posts become JIRA issues"
No, that's not true. JIRA issue message newsgroup replication replies become
comments in JIRA - that's what is true.
All I wanted is to submit a bug/feature to jira. But I have to log in. At the same time I'm already logged into EAP - why not log in automatically to jira? I don't remember my jira password anyway

Reporting a bug is pretty easy. If you use any modern web browser, your password
will be saved and automatically filled in. The cookie stays around for weeks (I
have to log in once a month or so).

Erm, not quite - NNTP -replies- become comments. Not new issues.
Hello Igor,
This train has gone for 10 month or so for now. I mean most users, who participate
in EAP do have JIRA accounts as well.
On the other side we're going to implement something embedded to IDEA so
EAPers may submit JIRA issues or their equivavlents directly from IDEA.

Indeed it was, but unfortunately it was not magically saved to a new computer
I am using sts for microservices development for 5 years but recently tried using IntelliJ idea, it's a totally worst tool to work with, license gets expired .adding more functionality does not mean smart. it's a dumb tool.
