CVS access through a proxy

Hi all,

I can't get cvs access from behind a proxy. Here at work IE uses an auto config feature for its settings, but I know the proxy address and port and can connect via cvsgrab. I use the same settings in the Configure CVSROOTS window. I've discovered that I have to use "http://" in front of the proxy server name (if not I get an error regarding "Proxy tunnel setup failed....") If I set the proxy settings correctly and try to test the connection, I instead get an "unknown host" error message. I've checked my cvsroot setting carefully. The host is cvs.apache.org, for what it's worth.
