Wrapping code with quotes

Hello,

I have an annoying issue. When I select some code (string or whatever it is) then I want to wrap that code with parenthesis or braces or quotes, it just deletes that code and puts what I type.

Before when I did that, the code was wrapping with what I type.

Can someone help coz it's really annoying.
