SD News: JetBrains Overhauls IntelliJ IDEA

writing about.
"New GUI Designer" -- what is new about it? Yes, in terms that previous
versions did not have it, it is new.
"support for the new Java language feature generics" -- just like that,
without a dash. What the hell is "feature generics"?
"The GUI designer takes a visual approach to laying out components on a
page" -- she quotes E. Belyaev. Do not all GUI designers do that??? She
did not point precisely out on how IDEA GUI designer really stand out. Why?
Because she surely did not run the product even once. "it separates layout
information from business logic" -- do not all GUI designers do that? Or
maybe she considers control coordinates in Swing code to belong to business
code? Zero info at all.
The paragraph about HotSwap is in a weird fashion mixed with intentions.
Ah, well. This article looks like JetBrains pushed some into to a certain
journalist, having in mind both review and an ad, but neither article not
its author worth attention.

JSR-14 Specification implemenation of Generics support. See JCP.
GUI designer is not so good as you wish, but it work for Swing development as good as it can. I check it - it work fine :)
HotSwap is feature that alow you to reload changed classes while debugger process is active. E.q. hot swap changed classes directly to runned JVM. As Sun specified. JetBrains implement it in Aurora :)
It becouse JetBrains develop for developers, who know that is on edge of technologies. Journals writen for readers :))

I did not express my opinion on GUI Designer. I said that the explanation of
what it does is so vague that can be applied to any other GUI builder and
provides no usable information at all. I do not discuss the product, I
discuss the article.
