How to Search php manual in phpStorm

Hi all !

I want to use a function for searching php manual in phpStorm, and it must be offline.

Are there any function same to that !?

Hi there,

You will need to use External Tools functionality (Settings | External Tools).

The general idea is:

Create new externl tools entry (see last comment on how to search in local .chm file : http://devnet.jetbrains.com/message/5469805#5469805 ) -- or build whatever command you need
Once such entry created, Apply changes
"Settings | Keymap" -- find your recently created external tools entry (should be under "External Tools" branch) and assign any shortcut you want.

Now .. you can make a selection in text, press that shortcut and it will execute your command.
