Hello,

Open IDE Help and search 'Authenticating to Subversion' there. The first found topic contains the info you are looking for.

Hope it helps.

No, it doesn't pop up any more, you will only see a red balloon saying you should go to the "pending notifications".
Please go to the lower right corner and click "!" sign there.
A picture's worth a thousand words:

You'll see authentication dialog immediately only when you're going to some URL outside your working copies.
To Repository Browser, for instance.

The "pending notifications" icon never appears to allow me to authenticate. I am trying to commit files. Am I missing something? See screenshots.

1. Restart WebIDE
2. Go to Version Control - Browse Subversion Repository
3. Click on '+' left to needed repository. If you didn't add any - add new and then click.
4. You will see next window:

Hallo
the window to enter the details to the svn connection, when I want to start browsing the svn, doesn't show up. But I get the box in the upper right corner with the hint to update the svn configuration. When I click the link in that box, a new window opens, where I can enter my login and password for the svn, and I can mark a checkbox to store the password. After doing this, there is a message in the lower left corner 'cannot store password: forbidden by "store password=no". My problem: where can I change this, so that the password is stored?

Thank you for your patience and help.

Thomas.

Please use only English language on all JetBrains resources.

Sorry, but it is a little bit confusing, when the language of the gui is german and the language spoken in the community is english. All in english would be better.

Hello Thomas,

There's a property in Subversion 'config' file, 'store-passwords'
It is described here:
http://svnbook.red-bean.com/en/1.5/svn.advanced.confarea.html#svn.advanced.confarea.opts.config

Your Subversion configuration directory is set (usually to default value) in PhpStorm/WebStorm in Settings | Version Control | VCSs | Subversion | Subversion Configuration Directory
