Is it possible to link History view to current selection like in Eclipse ?

Each time I want to see the history of the current selected file I have to go through the context menu > Git > Show History...
This is annoying as hell.
In Eclipse you can just activate the 'Link with Editor and Selection' button and each time you select/open a file the History view will be automatically refreshed with the current file history.

There is no such a feature in the current version, unfortunately.
Please submit a feature request at https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues/IDEA
As a workaround you can configure Shortcut for Show History action in the Settings - Keymap.
