Git Log - filter by repository

When I look at the visual Git commit tree, the view is polluted by commits from many different repos, even from projects that are not open in my current window. In the visual Git log I only want to see commits from one repo at a time, or in rare cases two. But I have not found any UI element that controls that. Can anyone help me find this option?
