Clion freeze when opening iCloud drive

Hello, since a few days Clion start to freeze every time i try to open the filer editor. I have narrowed down the problem to that it's when I'm trying to open then iCloud drive. However I can't select any other folder now as every time i try to open a new folder it defaults to iCloud drive , then the spinning wheel just comes up and spins forever. I tried to add and remove permission to full write and also iCloud drive but no success there. I also tired to reinstall Clion to see if it would select any other folder than iCloud drive as a default however it still defaults back to iCloud drive and freezes.

Does anyone know what might be the problem?
