Can't create projects/do tutorial after fresh installation.

Hello,
I just installed PyCharm Professional and can't create projects because the name box is missing, so it says “No whitespaces allowed here” and can't do the tutorial either because when i try to run the tutorial program it says “file not found”. Any tips how to resolve this?

Hi, it's related to the following regression: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/PY-76185/When-you-try-to-create-a-project-the-directory-cannot-have-whitespace
This should be fixed on the 2024.3.1 version we're going to release hopefully this week.
You can already install the Release Candidate version at Toolbox App
