Enter breaks line in the Pycharm Debugger Console on SSH remote development

Expected is that when enter is pressed the line is executed. However, in my case it just breaks the line : 

This only occurs when I am using the debugger over SSH connections, otherwise it is fine. If anyone can help please let me know. Thank you
