question about inlay hints - author name

Hi,

I m using different JetBrain IDEs for some years now.  Always love how JetBrain helps developers.  My question is specifically about showing last git commit author name as “Inlay Help”.  Going to git commit, finding changes happen to piece of code helpful, but showing author name & then showing git history is kind of distraction for me.  What was case where this useful for coding?
