PhpStorm Extreme CPU Usage (~1225.9%) on macOS Leading to System Performance Issues

I encountered a serious performance issue while using PhpStorm on my macOS system. PhpStorm is causing the CPU usage to spike to an abnormal level (1225.9%), which is significantly affecting the overall performance of my system.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. I open PhpStorm on my macOS system (version: [enter PhpStorm version here, e.g., 2024.1.4]).  
2. I load a PHP project (e.g., a medium-sized PHP/JS project).  
3. After using PhpStorm for a while (around 5-10 minutes), CPU usage suddenly spikes.  
4. When I open Activity Monitor and check the CPU tab, I see that PhpStorm is consuming an excessive amount of CPU (up to 1225.9%).  

Actual Behavior:

- PhpStorm causes CPU usage to rise up to 1225.9%.  
- Overall CPU usage reaches 95%.  
- Efficiency cores operate at 87%, while performance cores run at 88%.  
- System temperature rises up to 71°C.
