Pycharm will not execute on openSuse 16 Leap (Virtualbox installed on Windows 10)

I installed Pycharm using Snap.  I get an error when executing the file.
I gave up.
I installed JetBrains Toolbox.  And I let it install Pycharm.  The same error appeared.
This error was reported on an openSuse thread.  I'll provide the link.

When I went to report the problem in the popup window under Jetbrains Toolbox, I got another error.
"Cannot launch the default browser".
The cause java.lang UnsupportedOperationsException: Desktop API is not supported on the current platform."
I am not able to copy the error from the JetBrains Toolbox popup, but it is the same as reported in the link.
Note:  I do have GTK3 GTK4 and Gimp installed.
