AI Assistant : Commit Message

Hello,
Since the last major update, I can no longer find the button to generate commit messages with the AI assistant.
Is there a specific condition for it to appear?
Did I disable an option? Does the option no longer exist at all?
Is it a bug?

4 days without any response, I find it a bit complicated… the activity of JetBrains members on the forum is really light…

Hi Nicolas Aubry!

  1. What CLion version do you use? Is it CLion 2025.2.4?
  2. Is the JetBrains AI Assistant plugin enabled in File | Settings | Plugins?
  3. If the plugin is enabled, please click on the JetBrains AI widget located in the toolbar and send us a screenshot of the opened widget:

I’m using Junie and the other services correctly; it’s only for commits that I no longer have the icon since I got version 2025.2 (I think).

I can't reproduce the issue on my side in CLion 2025.2.4 on macOS:
