Student License not assigned after GitHub verification — No Available Licenses
Hello JetBrains Support,
I verified my student status via GitHub (I got the green confirmation: "You were successfully authenticated with GitHub, which verified that you are a student.") but when I open my JetBrains Account it shows "No Available Licenses" and the student application form returns the message:
"If you would like to renew your Student License, please use the dedicated link in your JetBrains Account..."

- University email: kayrahakan.kilic@agu.edu.tr
- GitHub username: <your-github-username>
- Screenshots: (attached) — 1) GitHub authenticated green message 2) Form red email/renew message 3) Account page showing "No Available Licenses"
What I tried:
- Logged out and back in, cleared cache
- Tried in incognito mode
- Verified GitHub → JetBrains again
- Tried both GitHub and University email in the form
Please check whether:
- The license was assigned to a different JetBrains account or email, or
- The university domain is blocked from automatic assignment, or
- There is a pending renewal link that needs manual activation.
I can provide any additional documents (student ID or enrollment letter) if needed. Thank you.

Thank you for reaching out to us. After checking your JetBrains account I see that your student subscription is valid until August 19, 2026,
and your JetBrains account is managed with this email address khkilic12@gmail.com. That means, that you can use it as your login + password to use the
software and the JB account. Please log in to your JetBrains account using this email address and password in order to reach your
subscription here https://account.jetbrains.com/login. After downloading the tool, please activate it with the option JB account also using your email address and password.
Please note that we have unified our policy regarding JetBrains Accounts for individual customers: personal licenses must be managed under a single JetBrains Account.
As you got an active student subscription, you cannot apply for another one with another option. We grant one free subscription at a time.
