Confirm uploading files - works only sometimes

Hi,

I generally like when files are uploaded automatically after I changed and saved them. But unfortunately often PhpStorm uploads files that it really shouldn't. There are often files that I have not changed locally, but that are for some reason different than on the remote host. I have not yet been able to figure out the exact circumstances.

Anyway, when that happens it has a few times destroyed the remote site and cost me hours of repair work over the years. Therefore I have become careful and either upload only manually, which is a pain, or I trust the “Confirm uploading files”. But unfortunately that cannot be trusted. Sometimes it asks for confirmation, often it does not and again tens of files are uploaded for no apparent reason and no confirmation.

This is how it is supposed to work:

“Confirm uploading files: Select this checkbox to have PhpStorm prompt for confirmation before uploading local items to a remote host.”

Is it a bug that items are still uploaded without confirmation or am I missing a setting?

How can I make sure that I really must confirm every upload?
