Query execution from structure

In previous versions it was possible to execute sql statements from the structure view (alt+7) with postgresql, in latest version this is not possible anymore. Is this expected? That was a very nice feature, it is a pitty the removal of that feature.

Do you mean the Execute option in the Structure tool window? I've checked it in the latest IntelliJ IDEA 2026.1.1, and it's present on my side:
Could you clarify whether you were referring to something else, or share a screenshot of what you're seeing instead?

I am using the same version (IntelliJ IDEA 2026.1.1), but I am running it on Windows 11 and I do not see that option.
I have attached a screenshot of what I am seeing on my side for your reference.

Thank you for sharing the screenshot. I checked it on Windows with similar scratch files, but I still see the Execute button. Do you observe the same behavior with query consoles?
Would it be possible to share the idea.log file (Help | Show Log in Explorer) and the data source definition (right-click the data source and press Ctrl+C) so I can compare whether there’s anything else that could be causing this?
