Highligh occurence under caret

Coming from Spyder I liked the feature of highlighting an occurrence under the caret on a file level.

That means all occurrences are highlighted, without checking their usage.

That helps me keeping track of variables among different functions.

Is there a way to enable in combination with the automatic caret highlight?

CTRL+Shift+F7 does also not do what I want.
