Not able to connect to tomcat server

I get the following error when I run the project. The configuration is correct and it was working. Tried restarting the system but the issue still persist.
Application Server was not connected before run configuration stop, reason:
Unable to ping server at localhost:1099
The configuration is as below

Please try with the new unmodified Tomcat installation. Check idea.log for errors.
Hey I tried with a new installation of tomcat and still the same issue

The issue was not with intelliJ. Did a system restore to a previous date. Works now. Thanks a lot for the quick response.
