When I import a Play project I get the error: Cannot determine module type ("SBT_MODULE").
On Project Structure, Modules do not show the Scala option.

Update/install the Scala plug-in: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/idea/installing-updating-and-uninstalling-repository-plugins.html.
Remove and install again the Scala plugin works for me.
Should be ok just to update the plugin this worked for me
