Toggle insert/overwrite on each files ( Mac )

Hi !

I have a big problem on my phpstorm ( 2017.3.4 Mac )

Every time I open a file I'm in insert mode. I have to toggle mode for each files I open... It's really impossible to work like this :(

I've followed those advices here :

I removed the plugins but the problem remains.

Is there a way to permanently , in the idea.properties, to activate the overwrite mode ? 

Please Help !
