2018.1 broke some thing
* The program wont let me input any charachters, but i can use CTRL + V. (Requires restart to fix)
* "Unreachable code"-bug, which (Requires CTRL + A -> CTRL + C -> Backspace -> CTRL + V to resolve)

I cant use CTRL-C inside a .js file, it was working yesteday before i updated to 2018.
I also have your problem with typing a caracter and then it being deleted automatically.
Also, enter won't change line...

Please check for any errors in Help > Show Log in ... > idea.log file.
Also try to run File > Invalidate Caches/Restart > Invalidate and Restart.
