Constant RubyMine dock icon bouncing is driving me insane
I just updated to 2018.1 and the RubyMine dock icon is constantly bouncing. It is driving me to insanity. The system setting did not stop it. I'll have to downgrade to an older version. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING AND HOW DO I FIX IT?

We've discussed the same issue inside the support ticket and most likely the root cause was .ignore plugin.
It looks like you're right. I disabled it and the problem went away. (I had disabled that animation feature in the meantime, but turned it back on to be sure).
I also found that the plug-in was causing a loss of focus from RM every couple seconds, catching watched specs to unexpectedly fire off. That's also fixed.
