Structure view malfunctioning

已回答

I have had this problem for months, and it just doesn't go away, not even with new updates. Currently running 2018.1 x64. It's actually goten worse with the 2018 version.

So the structure view is completely useless now. It just autoexpands and whatnot randomly. Well, when I switch tabs, but not always. Sometimes it remembers the previous state of the structure (which is what I want), some other times it autoexpands again. It is SO annoying, it kills productivity.

When I close a tab and then open it back again, the strucutre view is forgotten, and it expands automatically...

When I change tabs, so structure view is not updated automatically... I am forced to click on that panel so it is updated.

As I said this has been going for months. I have been following the issue in the issue tracker and they said it was fixed, but this is certainly not the case for me! It is an extremely annoying problem, since the structure view is one of the most fundamental parts of the IDE...

Is there any way I can get it to work as it used to?

Hi Pablo! I am sorry for the inconvenience, could you please specify the exact PyCharm version you are using? It's under Help | About (or PyCharm | About on macOS). Which OS do you use?
