refactoring variable names to catch everything

I attempted to refactor a variable using 'refactor > rename'. I first selected the preview option, and then ok'ed the changes. The variable names were changed in 2 files as expected. However one file also had the variable name as a key inside an object. This occurance was not renamed.

How can I ensure that a refactor > rename, also renames an occurance that is an object key?
