VCS file marked as deleted when it's not

I'm using PyCharm 2018.2 . I'm using Git VCS on my project, and one of my files is marked as deleted locally (its filename is greyed out), when in fact it's not.
The file is in fact a renamed version of a previous file (i.e. I renamed a file). So the previous file should have been deleted, not the current one.

Hi Lammenspaolo, could you please create a ticket in our bug tracker https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues/PY and attach a screenshot of the problem and idea.log from Help | Show Log in ...? Please try to right click on the project folder and select Synchronize action, has it helped?
