WSL - Project Interpreter needs new path mappings after each restart

Current setup:

Windows 10 Pro 1803
WSL Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS
Base Python 2.7.5
Virtualenv  16.0.0
Virtualenv python version 3.6.5

Hi everyone,

Whenever I restart my computer from a shutdown I am forced to set up the Path mappings (Settings > $Project -> Project Interpreter -> Path mappings) again in order for me to avoid a "No such file or directory" error.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix for it?

Hi, are path mappings reset on each system restart? Which PyCharm version is this?

Yes the path mappings are reset each system restart.

PyCharm info:

PyCharm 2018.2.2 (Professional Edition)
Build #PY-182.4129.34, built on August 21, 2018
JRE: 1.8.0_152-release-1248-b8 amd64
JVM: OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM by JetBrains s.r.o
Windows 10 10.0
