Cannot add Jython2.7.1 as Intrepreter on Windows machine

I was trying to add Jython 2.7.1 as Interpreter and I am unable to do so. The following is the error I get.
I added ~/jython2.7.1/bin/jython.exe as the interpreter and get the following error.
When I try the same for jython2.7.0 I get the following error:
What could be the reason that I cannot add jython as an interpreter on PyCharm?

Have you followed https://www.jetbrains.com/help/pycharm/configuring-local-python-interpreters.html?
If so, please provide your full command output from the second screenshot and also upload your logs folder zipped to https://uploads.services.jetbrains.com/ and provide us the name of this zip file.
