IDE switching focus to desktop on every run macos

Hi used IntellJ on windows for quite a while. Recently, I switched to macOS and for some reason whenever I run Intellij in full screen it switches automatically to the desktop every time I do a run/debug, which is really really annoying. This might be some macOS setting that I am not yet aware of, I tried all the stuff about mission control already, without any luck.
Does anyone have an idea on how to switch this "feature" of?

This is known issue which we are working on right now: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/JRE-1036. Could you please try this jdk to run IDE under. You can download and switch to it using this plugin:
