how can i install intelliJ on External SSD and excute?

i simply downloaded IntelliJ on external ssd, but it needs JDK, and it doesn't recognize JDK on external ssd. i don't know how to resolve it.

Do you have 64-bit OS? If so, use idea64.exe to start the IDE instead of idea.exe.
If you have 32-bit OS, installer should download and install the 32-bit JRE automatically for you.
It doesn't matter what drive is used.
