Webstorm 2019.2 preferences search in strange place

I'm getting something screwy since I upgraded from WS 2019.1.x to 2019.2 - basically the search item in the Preferences dialog is now partially merged with the window gadgets on my Mac. As you can see in the screen capture below:

Is this something specific to me, (although 2019.1 seemed fine AFAICR), or is this a bug? I don't use Preferences-Search often, but when I get into one of those "where the heck is this setting?" situation it saves a lot of time hunting.
