When trying to add a python interpreter PyCharm freezes

The only recourse after that point is to kill PyCharm from the task manager
openjdk version "12.0.1" 2019-04-16
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 12.0.1+12)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 12.0.1+12, mixed mode, sharing)

I still have no solution for this... :(
Did anyone figure this one out?
Dear all,
Please report it to our issue tracker https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues/PY providing steps for reproducing (how you add an interpreter, which Python version, etc.) and attaching your logs folder zipped from Help | Compress Logs and Show in... for the investigation.
Please do not use the existing tickets about similar problems. It's better to investigate them separately.
Hi Sergey,
I will do that later today. Thank You.
BTW, the actual link seems to be https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues/PY
Sorry, yes, perhaps the forum breaks the link.
Fixed.
Took me until today, but a bug has been filed: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/PY-39333
