IntelliJ IDEA 2019.3 EAP Linux - MIssing macOS keymap

已回答

I use the macOS keymap on all my IntelliJ installations (macOS/Linux) to keep sanity. In the latest Linux EAP the macOS key map has been removed, so I cannot use it right now. I hope this is a regression bug and not on purpose.

Thanks and regards,

Peter

Keymaps are providing as plugins since the latest EAP version of IntelliJ IDEA.

Try to search macOS keymap under Settings | Plugins. You can use /tag:Keymap to search for all the available keymaps.

I checked Settings|Plugins for keymaps - the macOS keymap is missing. Is there a plugin download page:

I checked IU-193.4386.10 again on macOS Mojave. My custom keymap is based on 'Default for macOS'. I can see a bunch of keymap plugins in the plugin manager - they are installable, but none on them is installed. It works as expected.

On Linux 'Default for macOS' disappeared after upgrading to the latest EAP. I also see a bunch of (installable) keymap plugins in the plugins manager, but no 'Default for macOS'. I checked the Jetbrains plugins site - but cannot find the macOS keymap plugin.

Why does it work on macOS without the keymap plugin? Why has it been removed on Linux? Any ideas?

Thanks,

Peter

The issue is marked as fixed - but it does not work on my system. On the latest EAP (Ubuntu 19.04 Linux) the macOS keymap plugin is now installable via the plugin manager (that is the fix) but is is not available in the keymap selection.

Please reopen and fix the issue.

Thanks and regards,

Peter

The fix has not been published yet. Fix build is set as #IU-193.5116, but current build  #IU-193.4932.9.

So, the fix will be delivered with the next update of IntelliJ IDEA EAP.
