2019.3 Font is THICK (compared to 2019.2.5)
I have 2019.2.5 and 2019.3 running side by side on my Macbook pro 2015. It seemed like the font rendering has thickened and there's no way to get back my slim font size. I reverted back to 2019.2.5 for now.

On a very first glance, it looks pretty similar to this report:

However, as far as I could see on your screenshots, even non-keyword text looks a little bit more saturated in 2019.3
Could you please check how does it look like with "Fira Code Retina"?
Here it is with comparisons with different fonts. After looking at the other report, it seems that this is an issue not-exclusive to Fira Code. There are some fonts that are affected, and some that don't appear to be. In particular, "Ayuthaya" and "Courier New" appears to retain the same weight.
