I want to disable the auto quote (since it always makes me loose one character), but I cannot find the option any longer.

I thought it was in editor/codestyle/go

Hi, please try to uncheck "Insert pair quote" or "Surround selection on typing quote or brace" in "Preferences | Editor | General | Smart Keys".
