Allow installation of all plugin ZIP files inside a single folder

I use a lot of plugins.

If I re-install my developer machine, it takes ages to re-install all the Intellij Plugins. I want to backup the ZIPs to my NAS and choose the NAS folder and let IntelliJ install all plugins from there. Would that be possible? Maybe via a separate option next to the "Install from disk" have a new option "Install multiple from disk"

You can make use of the IntelliJ IDEA plugins directory containing user-installed plugins by creating a backup of all files stored in it.

When a new IDE is installed, you can place all of the plugins there.

Have you considered creating a backup of the whole IDE configuration directory?

I have a backup of the configuration files.

I will try to backup the plugins directory, too. :)
