Show the last git/vcs commit revision inline of the current line the cursor is

I think I saw this on some screenshot or so, where grayed out to the right of the current code line was shown the last commit time/author/parts of the message.

Is there a way to enable this or a plugin? I searched already but no luck.

Note: this is not about showing the annotation for a whole file on the left side next to the gutter. Only on the line where the current cursor is.
