IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate 2020.2 crashes after installed on Mac

2020.2 Ultimate crashes. Seems to start, but after it tries to load - simply crashes and all the IntelliJ windows are gone.
this is a Critical issue since I can't properly access our projects now on the dev computer!
Mac is updated to the latest version 10.15.6 (19G2021)

Please report at https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/newIssue?project=IDEA with the crash dumps attached (java_error_in*.log files from the home directory and the system crash dumps from ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/).
