Printing terribly jaggy
已回答
Hi Folks. Did printing change recently? I don't remember it being this jaggy. The left is PDF Preview in original size (yes, it looks this bad!) Thank you.

Does it help if you change the font/size?
I had the same thought, but no difference. I tried different fonts, sizes, and combinations of the "Style" checkboxes.
Does it look bad only on preview or in the final PDF as well?
Probably macOS specific, can't reproduce on Windows.
Smart question, Serge. It prints fine, which surprised me; all the other pdfs on my mac preview crisp. Maybe it's the pdf library IDEA uses? Anyway, I'll just ignore the preview quality. Thank you.
Not reproduced in macOS 10.15.7. The font looks the same in the preview and in the resulting PDF: https://ibb.co/8rQYywm
I suppose the problem can be related to OS font smoothing settings: https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016827360
Which settings do you have?
