Recent Files Missing (every now and then)
When using command + E on a mac in the intellij ultimate, files which were opened literally within the last 5 minutes, are not shown. It's not that they're never shown, but rather stop appearing randomly.
Then, I open them in another way and they become visible in the recent files... until they disappear again.
EDIT: when writing this post I tried to replicate it and I think I see whats happening. When I start typing in the recent files popup, it filters the files (as it should). When I want to delete a character (typo etc.), it removes the currently selected file from the list. I can't be the first person that stumbled upon this, right? Is there a way to change this behavior perhaps?
Is this perhaps a known bug? If not, is there some logic which might affect when files disappear from that list?

May you share a screencast of the whole IDE window with KeyCastr program installed and Presentation Assistant plugin enabled?
Also, please share logs folder after reproducing the problem.

It’s happening to me too, to "solve" I use the refresh button on the version control tab;
steps to reproduce, do some changes in the code, hit ```ctrl + f9```, alterations are no longer "highlighted" by the IDE;

@..., I'm sorry, what I'm experiencing is another bug; Files are missing out from the "changed" tab, not the "recent files";
@... just to make sure that we are on the same page - do you mean that you cannot see files in the active changelists once you've modified them?
