Code and Code Block formatting in Community Posts
已回答
I tried Markdown. I tried Confluence. I tried BBHtml. I tried some HTML. Nothing seems to allow for code formatting here, in the community posts and comments. Oh, there's a simple widget for some Headings and Bold and Italic, but code or monospaced text? No.
How is that? Markdown would give you inline code, code fences, and highlighting with the right plugin.
This is really a general topic for the community boards. Not specific to an IDE or plugin.

All the available formatting options (including "code block") are available here: https://i.imgur.com/7AHJH7X.png
By the way, we are using ZenDesk Community Forum
D'oh! I did not read that icon as a "code block!" I saw a "command prompt." In hindsight, that makes sense.
I'm surprised though that ZenDesk doesn't have a Markdown plugin. Could prove to be a welcome feature!
