Shortcut to remove single/double quotes in IDEs

I use IntelliJ IDEA for a Typescript project and many times I would love to remove single and double quotes on a selection without having to put the cursor before/after the section and then press the backspace/delete key. Is there a shortcut to doing this?

Unfortunately that's not possible at the moment. Please vote for IJPL-29901 to get notified of any progress with this feature.
